“Spotlight on 66” is a resume of what has happened in London and in Western Ontario as seen through the eyes of the FYI cameras…. It will be a look at some of the events that will have far-reaching effects… it will be a look at some of the events we'll remember best and it will feature some events that were typical FYI vignettes on a busy people living in a busy little part of the world…. Through the magic of film, we’ll take a peek at 66 in retrospect.”

There are mass protests across the United States as youth activists begin questioning the country’s involvement in the Vietnam War.
As the space race creates interest in “the final frontier,” television producers create shows to capitalize. The most successful of these is Star Trek, which debuts in 1966 and goes on to become a cultural phenomenon.
